About this role
Are you a motivated and passionate Business Administrator looking to grow in a global business? As a Legal BA you will provide confidential and proactive administrative support to the Australasia Region Legal team. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the other members of the Legal Team to ensure the provision of consistent high-level support to meet business and stakeholder needs.
What will I do?
- Provide assistance and support to the Legal team in relation to identifying similar contracts reviewed in the past and associated Legal team comments and tables of departures, seeking further information from enquirers where necessary, and filing.
- Screen telephone calls, enquiries, and requests to the Aus Legal Team, take ownership of enquiries where appropriate or escalate to others accordingly, and ensure these are resolved.
- Manage Insurance Certificate requests from the business; liaise with insurance brokers regarding any insurance related queries. At the end of insurance year, receive and check all insurance certificates have been issued and upload these to the legal Essential site. Manage expectations of and ensure the business is kept well-informed throughout the process.
- Schedule and coordinate team training sessions, both training by the legal team to the legal team, and training by the legal team to the business, including organising trainers and providing up-to-date attendance list prior to each session.
- Own and manage the Legal team’s Microsoft Teams site and central information depository / Z-drive.
What will I bring?
- Relevant industry experience within a consulting business environment.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S.
- CRM super-user ideally, but if not, a commitment to becoming one is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality.
